If the transmissions from the legendary Factory Records band Section 25 are true, then rumors about the upcoming Factory Records box set might be realized after all...
Due out in "late November 2008", this 4 CD box set will come out on Rhino/Warners with artwork by Peter Saville, an essay by Paul Morley, compiled by Jon Savage...
I'm assuming this *ISNT* the Palatine "Factory Story" box set re-released - but who knows... Anyone?
For those unfamiliar with Factory - they were basically the house that post-punk built, the Manchester, England based record label and home to Joy Division, New Order, Section 25, The Wake - successfully transitioning into a pop/baggy sound with the success of The Happy Mondays and Northside (and of course a little hit called "Blue Monday")
In celebration of this, let's watch a super young Bernard Sumner (New Order) talk to the legendary designer Peter Saville.
