oh man so you live in like a farming town? you must be the odd man out there.

well I've been plenty of cool places ive been all over canada and i lived in costa rica in a host family with my friend for about a month and all over the us. florida ny being the two major parts. i've also been to Nashville, its pretty cool but i'd be sure to make plans to visit other cool things in the south while you're down there because honestly from my perspective it isn't worth a trip from pa just to go to nashville.

if you want to travel europe check out wwoof.org you get to pick out farms all over the world and your only expense is traveling money. the host farms are typically small organic farms and you get free board and food and everything and if you don't like one farm you can pick up and move to the next. if you pick the right ones you only have to work a few hours out of the day and the rest of the time you get to do whatever you want. me and my friends were going to do that with the money we make this summer but one has decided to get a car and the other one and i have decided to get a place to live when we go back home... but its still in our plans for the future. its worth checking out.

and for what reasons have you been to north carolina?

sadly?!?! PA is pretty awesome in my opinion but i guess anywhere you grow up gets pretty old.

have you been anywhere cool?

haha don't worry about it I love meeting new people. Your ambitions sound awesome, though. you should look into unc greensboro. its in north carolina, where i go. we have a huge fashion department, and photography is big there, too. you could easily get into something decent there, but the problem is the majority of the fashion majors are stupid sorority girls. I don't mean stupid as in I just don't like them, I mean they really are dumb for the most part.

theres also a huge music scene in greensboro, tons of "scene" kids and alternative things to do. Don't know how your parents feel about letting you go down south but its worth checking out for sure.

and yeah don't get a job if you don't like it. it ruins your will to live. i worked at a grocery store with my best friend in high school for a week. i had to quit. it was the worst job ever.

just for conversation's sake, have you lived in PA your whole life?

well me and two of my housemates back home (the two guys i'm friends with on this website, actually) got a job on craigslist repairing waterslides at a waterpark in our town at the beginning of the summer and the guy that hired us offered us a job that sounded a lot better than it is, BUT we travel from ski lodge to ski lodge in the north and we repair and paint ski lift towers. we make good money but we wind up in little towns where there is nothing to do and were getting pretty stir crazy. but he provides housing in the lodges and pays for all of our gas and he sets us up at a place and then we don't see him until the jobs done so its pretty cool, in that respect.

I see you live in PA, we were just in PA not too long ago. ever heard of stroudsburg or tannersville? we worked at Camelback ski and waterpark there. it seems pretty big so maybe you've heard of it.

what do you do?
