middle
last
and next show you want to go to?

my first was dance hall crashers in 1999 or 2000
my middle show was a hardcore show my senior year..let's just say minor threat.
My last was my friends local band show 2 weeks ago. Only to support, hardcore is too much on my ears nowadays. And i basically dropped the Hardcore scene in 04 right before everyone else did.
the next show i really want to go to is Magnet.

i can't even remember my first punk show....holy crap. i remember watching a brother's band of a friend of mine have a mini show at her house in middle school. i was there for a slumber party with my girlfriend and then all of these "super cool" teenagers showed up.

other than that i really can't remember the first actual show...it was probably something like the lower class brats or something early high school/late middle. god. i can barely remember those days.

In 1999 I saw Sonic Youth and the Meters and Everlast (where I go my backpack stolen, my ex girlfriend insisted on the last one. meh.), and in 2000 I saw the Melvins.

And I saw Del here in September.

If I had to see incubus in concert, I'd probably find an emo kid and borrow his razor blades.

i saw them back in KCMO a few months ago. i liked them before i saw them but after....holy shit. i am in love with that band. they put on the craziest show i've ever seen. i'm really hoping to get to see them again.

and i saw incubus with 311 in the late 90's. it was 311's 10th anniversary show and incubus was the opening band before two skinny j's. haha.

the ataris was probably in the middle...awesome show at a local club called ray's that recently closed down. :(
the buzz bake sale was the last show i went to (paramore, the used, rise against, 3 days grace, coheed, the starting line)
i really want to go to the O.A.R. concert at FGCU, but i'll probably end up going to this all day ska show at the underground.

all time favorite show: paulson. the end.

the first live concert i attended: ray charles. i was 7 and just me and my dad went. he bought me a big mac and a strawberry milkshake.

the first show i went to: pietasters with my sister shortly thereafter [i was maybe 8?]
i was in love. i've seen them more times than any band i've ever seen, i think.

the middle? well, i am 22 now so that would be just about any memorable show i attended when i was 14/15 which weren't many. my sister's boyfriend took me to punk-o-rama tour in 2000 to see dropkick murphy's, bouncing souls,
the dwarves. he bought me a steel reserve and i shugged it on I-95 on the way to DC. i was wasted and also, in love. i was 14.

the last show i attended was menomena. i had a great time.
i was supposed to see ultra dolphins in dc when i visited earlier this month: fail
i was supposed t see dan deacon this past friday and saturday here in pdx: fail

i hate being an adult and too broke for fun.

my first concert was the verve pipe/violent femmes when i was 12 at the university.. like 96..?

my first show was the first joshua fit for battle show, and i think what became neil perry played before them.. i can't remember. that was summer of 98, my freshman year of high school.

the fall of 98 to the end of 99/00 winter, i went to like, every first unitarian church/stalag13/pine street/killtime/rotunda show. i literally think i missed three. i saw the get up kids like 6 times that year. i remember by that fall, i thought i was SO legit, all
i-love-kid-dynamite-wanna-be-philly-kid. and then i saw at the drive-in. wow.

the most recent show i've been to was a jazz june reunion over the past summer. it was good, but it was in some nothing bar in north philly and no one was there, and it was a benefit for some kid that was dying, and it ended up so sad, watching them play "the medicine" to like 20 screaming 20 somethings..

it was still great.

First: REM Green, with my first Girlfriend, Julie Carlson. (Absolutely would NOT do more than hold hands, which was a real downer, and did not help my self-esteem, let me tell you. Don't date the only daughter of a single mom. Ever. Fo sho.)
Middle: It's all such a blur...
Last: Fionna Apple. She rocked the fuck out!!! I know, because I told her so. At the top of my lungs, just as she was leaving the stage. I think she blushed.
Next: Hmmm.... Cat Power is supposed to come out this way someday...Sleater Kinney lives about a day away, but maybe I could get them to come down here?
