It reminds me of this story I heard about this fishing boat captain that was gutting a 'small' whale when he saw a shark swimming up to kill&eat one of his shipmates so he waded over and put a head-lock on the shark, drug it ashore and then stabbed it to death with a boning knife.

MUD SHARK, NOT THAT AGGRESSIVE. MOST SHARKS THAT GET CAUGHT IN A NET JUST ROLL OVER AND DIE, OR PLAY DEAD UNTIL THEY GET RELEASED. WE CAUGHT 800 LB. MUD SHARKS IN ALASKA ONCE, SOMEBODY JUMPED IN THE LIVE TANK (WHICH IS REALLY DRY, ITS NOT A FISH TANK WITH A BUNCH OF FISH SWIMMING IN IT), WRAPPED ITS TAIL WITH A SLING AND HOISTED IT OUT WITH THE CRANE. THEN WE TOOK PICS OF US WITH IT, AND DROPPED BACK INTO THE BEARING SEA.

SO, NOT AS IMPRESSIVE AS IT MAY LOOK.
