as much as i love it here ottawa has hardly any culture - besides the byward market, and the parliment buildings.
it mainly consists of large tall gray buildings that do have significance, but if you don't work with an embassy/government, you can't really do much here.
The Museum of Contemporary Art was interesting. That's pretty much it. oh, and one of the deputies calling another deputy "fat" because he was out of arguments against her.

I have a pretty big house, big patio, big back yard, and lots of toys.
I must say, location means nothing..it's who you're with and if there's alcohol involved. I never would of thought us mocers would of had a meet in AZ. It was pretty rad to drive there and meet Brigid, Jazz, Koley, Nat and Jud. Who would of thought that many Mocers even reside in AZ? 7 years ago i would of been shocked. But reguardless, the turnout was pretty good..and i am letting those of you who went talk about it..because clearly i didn't get any action, i didn't play in the drum circle, i slept alone on the freezing floor(come to find out the door was open), but i woke up on the bed (sorry for the intrusion Koley and Jud), i wasn't in on the tripple kiss, or any of the other makeout sesh's that was going around. i was sorta busy sittin on the toilet in the womans bathroom trying to compose myself while i ditched some guy who though he could get all up on me, get all emotional and shit, talking about his ex gf, randomly asking me what kind of car i drive, trying to use the line" you're the nicest girl i have ever met at a bar" and manage to tell me he is from hicksville..and he was wondering why i was quiet..he was claiming i was shy because i didn't want to dance with him- dude i just wanted some beer. I dunno i am still sick and tired, sorry for the ramble.-DLH

Jud was such a caring friend. He kept interupting us (as i would signal across the stairs)..asking me to makeout with him so i could be saved. Whatever, it still doesn't explain why he tried to makeout at four peaks. But yes, Jud is a true (horny) friend, and i thank him dearly for his "protection".
I would love a SF meetup, but I'm pretty sure that there's only two active moc members living here. It is right in between oregon and LA/AZ, three locations with large moc populations, though.
I would also propose New Hampshire or Vermont as it is getting handier to the Midwest, East Coast US, East Coast Canada, and central Canada.
In particular, there is a brewfest happening in North Woodstock/Lincoln, NH on June 28th. It is in the most beautiful location possible in NH and lots of great/cheap camping is available.
I LIVE ABOUT TWO HOURS OUTSIDE OF LA AND MAYBE MIGHT SORTA EVENTUALLY POSSIBLY CONSIDER THE HANGOUT BUT I USUALLY SIGN UP FOR THESE THINGS AND THEN END UP DITCHING AT THE LAST MINUTE BECAUSE TWO JOBS BLAH BLAH BLAH.
