I covet your house. :(
I live in CA, the MOST EXPENSIVE R.E. market in the country. (Except for some places in NY, maybe.)
Gonna have 2 move to buy anything. :( Not happy about this.

Also, congrats on your house!!

but after living for over a year overseas, i'm gonna have to put in some face time with the family.

Gotcha. I suppose that's understandable.

If you're in the Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area, lemmi know, :]

It's an awesome change for me. I guess it's all subjective. I think New York City is shit and I can't wait to be near my family and have fresh air. Plus, I LOVE my job in Boca and can't wait to start working on site!

Cary - you are most welcome to stay with us!

Thanks for all the well-wishing xo

that deck needs a little bit work, darlin.

god, that place is the quintessence of florida, for better or worse.

Um, thanks, I think. The deck is a MESS and needs to be totally redone. But the interior is far more tasteful and interesting than most Florida homes. The last owner sunk a TON of money into improvements (with the exception of the backyard).

it's a lovely house, i just pictured christmas lights in the palm tree and a flamingo windmill.

it reminds me of, well, growing up in florida. but the inside looks really nice.
which is funny, cause the kitchen and bathroom are marble, the floors are wood, and the deck looks like someone dropped a pallet of 2x4s in the back.

If there has to be something that needs work, the back yard is FINE with me. It's a lot cheaper than re-doing the interior or putting on a new roof (which the former owner had to do after the hurricane in 2005).

I love it :D
