no offense, but take it to the entry board. the answer is because you are 16 and think things mean things. a lot of them.

eventually you realize how little that matters and laugh at all the goofy OH NOES of highschool.
nothing will mean anything that happens there, date every cute boy and have fun cause fuck it you are 16 and shouldnt even be looking for your forever partner till your late 20's anyone and no one you should want to be with will you meet in HS

And, well, if the two people talking aren't both stupid or fresh out of High School, they usually have a lot better luck just talking normally.

My only advice would be to either stop talking to idiots, stop flirting with guys you don't like, or not expect too much out of stupid people.
