Salmon Farms -that use Kelp with mussels growing on them as filters in long strands around each pen. One of the safest most Environmentally sound method btw.
It's always nice to leave fish in places like africa instead of stealing them with foreign fleets, and farm your own.

i always feels a lot safer even in the scummiest places in canada compared to US cities.

actually tribe has a similar myth except ours is called mishubishu.....actually my reservation was on the bottleneck that connects manitould island to the mainland....so there's many different things here to love...the bell rocks...used to actually warn the rest of the island and the north shore of lake huron of attacks from the iroquois, call joint meetings etc....then there's dreamers rock where the youth from all over the island and north shore came to go on dreamquests to learn what they would do for the rest of their lives...ie what caste they would be in...but besides that canadian beer, canadian girls and of course hockey...

this was filmed in birch island....well rainbow lodge my family used to have reunions at that place.
Apparently my dad's cousin was on that show. Doing what, I don't know. Apparently Lois Maxwell lived near Espanola, or so I've been told. That's where my dad and his family are from. They used to own the Esso (Texaco) outside Espanola. True story.
on highway 69?....that's cool though....they're actually renovating the lodge they should be done sometime this summer....i'lll probably get some pictures this summer sometime i'll post them....i think i'm going to organize a reunion for this summer
