I think i have finally become ready to take my septum ring out..after 6 hideous years of this terrible fashion statement. Back in my hardcore days they looked good..but on the hardcore boys. I've been tucking it up for too long and i want to be able to pick my nose in peace.

imo: i like piercings. depends on the person though whether it looks good or not.

I don't show them anymore..especially when i am at church. They are a huge distraction and the main focus is the Lord. I don't want to interupt his glory ya know.

I think septum piercings are a hard piercing to pull off.

i took all of mine out a while ago... lobes were the first to go... 3/4" holes now look like catass... conch holes are now just lil scars... tongue was the last to go.. its been well over a year and its still strange cleaning food out of my teeth without it... growing up is where its at

Natasha, the nose ring looks good.

Personally I don't think a septum piercing looks great on anyone, but it looks pretty good on you.

ok all i gota say is this....

natasha... no matter how many holes in your face/body/etc god will love you
no matter how many tattoos you have god loves you
no matter what color your hair is god loves you
no matter how black or not you are god loves you
no matter if you love him or not.... god loves you
God is love and always will be and because people are ready to point and judge... judge not lest you be judged.
let he without sin cast the first stone

and im sick and tired of listening to people SERIOUSLY say that any of those reasons can actually make god not love you as much or be less pleased. God gave us the option of free will for a reason... he wants us to be US not anyone else. if you feel that it is personally affecting your ability to focus on the Lord then so be it... take it out... but just like a pair of red shoes or a yellow dress there is no reason you should change unless you are trying to offend your Lord.

this is the reason i stopped attending church and leading bible studies because people always judged me and i got sick of it. those people are on power trips and need to learn that the reason behind God isnt the way you dress or if you have tattoos or not. it isnt up to man to decide how to judge another man.. do what you feel is right in your heart... but dont ever think that it makes you less of anything... dont let anyone ever tell you that.

In regards to making out, the mouth is like a field that you might want to go frolic in, but when you have piercings its like somebody built a wicked awesome jungle gym out there. And I would love to play on that jungle gym.

do you really think that? ive wondered what guys thought about lip rings since i got mine...

well.. according to leviticus 19:28..... yer going to hell already just based on yer piercings... so you might as well add some tattoos and abortions cuz its not like theres a "warm" hell.. its all hot hot hot

i think it's pretty feminine actually and as the saying goes; "those that care don't matter and those that matter don't care".

I love piercings in moderation. I'm beginning to tired of my septum too but it's fun from time to time ... I like small cbrs.

In general people should do whatever makes them happy.

Piercings aren't for me personally. My bff got her tongue pierced a million years ago, i got it done too, before a dozen of our friends followed suit.
The entire experience was more or less a disaster. I went to a renowned guy to have it done but even still the pain was tremendous and my tongue swoll like a mofo. After a week I went and asked him if this was the norm, and why it hadn;t healed yet.. He said diet and stress can play a part in healing time. / Then at art school i was eating some potato chips in class - CRUNCH! i asked some kids there they said it was normal to chew on them by mistake once in a while. However a few years later at a formal christmas dinner, i wasn't paying attention thought maybe there were pepper corns in the gravy & completely tried to eat the metal ball! :((( wtf right. It only took two hard chomps before i knew something was dreadfully wrong. I asked the hostess if there were peppercorns in the gravy. of course there werent; i excused myself from the table, went to the washroom, investigated the damage. Left in agony shortly there after/

A few days went by until i almost snapped from the pain laying in a heap crying non stop. Finally made an emergency visit to the dentist. My regular dentist was gone, the stand in said there was nerve damage infections in my gums forming spidery clusters along the roof of my mouth from the initial impact. Amazingly that time the teeth didnt crack or chip much or at all, they seemed brighter where they smashed down though. Anyhow I dont know if you've ever had a nerve infection in your mouth but jesus christ it is seriously more painful than a shattered bone.
She gave me enough antibiotics to kill a horse. They were for conditions like bacterial heart disease or some shit systemic maybe. Had to get a bunch of bloodwork done and go to a dr many months later after my body still couldnt flush the antibiotics out. The dr. said she had given me more than 10 times the proper dose, and that it was lucky there was no permanent damage blah blah i could have died.

SO after all that i was like fuck it, NOT WORTH IT.

yea so long as you live your life accoring to the old testament.. i guess that also means you are damned for eternity because jesus didnt exist yet back in the old test and therefor your soul is bound to hell?? this is the kinda BS im talkin about...

oh and it has somethin to do with your being slightly ginger donkey... i noticed that the redheads i pierced didnt heal as well as others... the lack of pigment in the skin having something to do with the coagulation and healing in the skin... i did a surface piercing on my friends stomache and she would NOT STOP BLEEDING!!! i used a towel to SOP UP the blood and i am not kidding...but i pierced my friend lucky too and he was also redhead... he did a little better but he wasnt as much of a redhead as she was...
