*on the oregon coast, was going to say "in oregon coastal region".

also, Beachside state park looks nice from what I've seen so far.

last time my family and i went camping was in oregon. we stayed at cape lookout state park in a yurt (it's like a weird round cabin). it's on the coast pretty close to tillamook, about an hour and a half outside of portland. it's a pretty park with some trails and a lot of beach.

i'm not much for camping, but when my friends were younger they used to go to Ft Stephens quite a bit. it's near astoria...which means you can go see the goonies house.

cannon beach is a pretty swell town and i'm sure there's camping around that area.

but i'd guess that pretty much anything from manzanita north is a good way to go

i second the yurt.

anywhere you go on the oregon coast is going to be nice and enjoyable.

the reason i second the yurt is because every time i go camping at the coast it rains. i dont mind the rain but i hate wet camping gear. the yurt fixes that problem for you!!!!
