i would definitely rise above the occasion and hold my head up high. you're starting a new life, probably going to college, and you likely wont talk to any of the people you went to high school with after a few months. its good to be honest with people and no ones going to judge you for doing so since you dated this guy. plus the people that he showed the letter to can see for themselves that hes obviously a giant douchebag. i would move on and forget about this guy. high school sucks.

agreed. move on, do your best to forget (everyone else will very soon) and look forward to the day (probably about 10 years from now) where he begs your forgiveness and tells you that what he did has been eating him up all these years.

And anyone who's worth keeping any sort of contact with after High School will more be laughing at him for being the immature prick he is than at you.
