"live forever" by the highwaymen
"we'll meet again" by johnny cash
"we live" by electric wizard
"fanfare for the common man" by aaron copland
"if i should fall from grace with god" by the pogues
"home i'll never be" by tom waits

ehh, or "dopesmoker" just for the hell of it.

then again, it's not that difficult, cause you'll be fucking dead, and it doesn't really make any difference.

If I was really feeling like an asshole to those around me, I'd choose Johnny Cash's version of Hurt.

Cash's version is the best.

Dopesmoker is a good choice, if the rules of this thread are that you don't die until the song ends, and you want to prolong yr life for as long as possible...

Another one bites the dust - queen
you are my sunshine -bob dylan/johnny cash (since it's the first song I remember as a child)

OR anything by Tom Waits, or Johnny Cash go out with something classy.

yeah my mom would sing that to me and it would be played at house too, but I remember being little and terrified that someone would take me away. Though it's fantastic when someone still sings it to me.

pretty sad. it actually just came on my shuffle. i think i'd maybe like "its a wonderful world" by louis armstrong or "a day in the life" by the beatles...something by the beatles, or by billie holiday...i also really think "deep blue sea" by daniel rossen would be great. van morrison maybe, i don't know there are too many.

Now when you say that a song is playing, are we talking softly or are we talking about a massive PA system blasting so that everyone within 5 miles hears it?

"Do You Realize??" the Flaming Lips
"Yoshimi Battles Pink Robots Pt. 1" The Flaming Lips
"Sun Child" The Vines
"We Will Become Silhouettes" The Postal Service
"La Valse D'Amelie" Yann Tiersen
There are many more, but those are the ones that sound the best at the moment.

I dig it. Especially the Postal Service bit.

I think "I Will Be There When You Die" by My Morning Jacket. Although that's more of a song I'd want played at my wake.
Pretty much the same thing for "I Will Follow You Into The Dark" by Death Cab.
ANY version of "We'll Meet Again" is obviously fitting. Although I might prefer "Goodbye Song" by The Moldy Peaches.

I thinik i just got sick. IF any MCR was playing on my death bed, i would be trying to pull the plug so i woudln't have to listen to it

However I would love to hear one of the following

"Better than This" OneLineDrawing

"What a good boy" BNL (yes i know everyone hates them but fick off I liked them since they came out. so nothing is gonna change my opnion now.)

"Alberque" by werid al (I have fond memories of my freinds with that song.)

"Ass Hole" Dennis Leary (more fond memories)

maybe some thing off of the 1 eve 6, third eye blind album. i can not think of anyhting else right now
