SWEET. apparently in san diego there is a beach where you can drink too much and that is okay. i must research this.

the person was probably referring to either pb (pacific beach) or mission beach, which is littered w/ frat types/college kids
this is not true anymore.
after the "riot" that happened last year on memorial day weekend they finally banned drinking on PB (which was like one of the last hold out public beaches to allow it.)
You can still drink on the beaches that are on Camp Pendleton, and I think one of the Navy ones on Coronado, but no more public beaches
