dude is getting his phd in ann arbor, and his wife has the ride at her school in st. louis where she is getting her phd. his ride was totaled on ice this winter. i took up a make of an '81 Honda CM400 bike that he had purchased another parts bike. we used our mechanic skills and created a reliable and working bike he can take out when there is no car.

we also thought about driving up, but the amount of gas $ we spent on the michigan trip fucked that up.... portland is really where we wanted to be. we'll be up there eventuall.
