nietzsche and the vicious circle
profane illumination: walter benjamin and the paris of the surrealist revolution
manifestos of surrealism
and hopefully, if i can get my hands on it:
i am not a man, i am dynamite: frederich nietzsche and the anarchist tradition
it's fucking incredible. quite possibly one of the best books on nietzsche ever written.
top 3:
-the aformentioned Nand the VC
-on nietzsche by georges bataille (he and klossowski were close buds. it's a lot crazy, but definitely captures the spirit of nietzsche. he calls the will to power to will to evil)
-nietzsche and philosophy by gilles deleuze (this gets a bit heavy and convoluted in terms of deleuze's own thought, but he has a great understanding of N's system and what nihilism means)
apparently klossowski wrote a novel called the baphomet in which the ghosts of nietzsche, sade, and some old templars come and possess the bodies of children and animals and shit. it sounds AWESOME.
