I have a couple of victoria's secret bras that I have had for about 4 years that are still really comfortable. But I have no chest so it doesn't really matter what I wear in the way of bras.
I really enjoy the underwear and bra's from gap and the best thing about them is they aren't constantly changing the styles, just the colors.. :)
I bought a Victoria Secret bra when I was in Texas at the end of May, it's OKAY... not my favorite.
i was expecting a post from a guy in here requesting pics. i am sure it's coming, though!
i am a weird size, too. i have a tiny frame and a large cup size. i can't just go to department stores, but this site is AMAZING and has every brand. you can search by size, style, brand, color, etc... http://www.figleaves.com
my favorite brands for just fittiness (?) are la perla and agent provocateur. i can't believe i am typing this here, but fredrick's of hollywood makes my size, and they have some things that aren't totally trashy. just make sure you don't have the catalogues laying around when people come over. that's embarassing. HELLO crotchless panties!
for working out, bra tops, and other practical stuff, i buy the house line from title9 sports. they are out of boulder and have great sports bras and tops that come in all sizes. nike has a line of running clothes "rundri" that has built in bras that come in extra small. these are everywhere, stores like sports authority. for cute athletic tops for hiking and yoga and whatever, patagonia has a wide array of sizes and they hold up well. but you are going to pay out the ass. so cute, though! i wear them around everywhere. yes, i am one of those people.
Cicada, you're echoing my thoughts, exactly.
Fig Leaves is basically the only place that actually lists things in my small band / large cup range,
i checked frederick's because of sizing, but there's just not anything i'm remotely interested.
i'm thinking i'm going to go with AP. They usually end up being the only brand i actually like.
Fredericks also uses really cheap fabric so they're really uncomfortable. I'm a VS girl all the way cause they're the only place that carries my cup size in store, but I'm gonna have to check out this figleaves thing... :)
oh, one more thing. if you want something without an underwire, the only brand i have not experienced total fail with (bra under my armpits, boob takeover) is diesel. yes, i know. and figleaves carries diesel lingerie.
JUST THINK OF ALL THE CRED YOU'LL GET WITH YOUR METRO FRIENDS.
i almost forgot calvin klein. calvin klein makes my bra size, and the panties (EEP I TYPED PANTIES) are really flat-assed. you know, if you have no ass, like me. they are pretty affordable and really, really well made. and very stylish. like super cute colors and designs.
i have a hard time finding bra's that fit me.
the only store we have in town that really sells "quality" bra's is VS (other than belk and penney's. yuck). so i have tried all sorts of combonations of cup and band size, i have even been "fitted", but still nothing really fits.
my boobs are pretty huge.
i've settled on a 36DD from VS, but it's still pretty uncomfortable.
this info is probably no help to you, though, as i think you have not quite the same problem as i do.
good luck.
i am thinking i am proably an E, but can't really know as NO WHERE in this town carries anything above a DD.
also: very skeptical about buying bras online.
also,
apparently almost half of american women have at least D boobs,
but most of them never find out because there's so much stigma,
and big bust stuff automatically gets bumped into plus sizes.
