ender, do you like your tc?
i am debating between that, an xb, and a used celica when it comes time to trade my corolla in...
first off, WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU WANT AN UGLY ASS XB?!?! and no offense, i hate toyota prius.... with a passion. the celica would look good, because its a girl car, and yes, tc's do drive well. and cheap to fix too because its a toyota.

I've been toying with the idea of turning in my tC for the new xB. They're HUGE inside, and have the same engine as the tC, in a car that's IIRC, 1,200 lbs lighter. Plus the autostick feature is pretty nice. I was impressed with the suspension when I drove one too. I have a lot of upgrade suspension parts, and the xB's suspension felt pretty good with just lowering springs.
I love my tC. There are some things that feel "cheap," but that's to be expected, considering I paid $17,http://000.00 pretty much out the door for it. They're all Monospec, meaning all Scions come with power windows, doors, cruise, and whatever you wouldn't expect to find on a stripped compact in the same price range.
Another thing to consider is insurance. As far as I know, the Celica is still relatively expensive to insure, especially if you look at the GT or GT-S. My insurance company considers my car a "3-Door Passenger Vehicle," so it's pretty much cheaper to insure than a Corolla.
