how often do you wash your jeans?

for me it's never
unless some substance finds itself stuck to the denim.

i have some jeans that the sales guy instructed me not to wash unless i absolutely had to. like if i was involved in humanitarian aid and they became soaked in the blood of the innocent.

i have washed them once in the past year, and their hipness is still intact. thank god.

Once a year is fine for me. If they're funky, stick them in the freezer to kill bacteria.

Yeah. Washing jeans too much is bad in my opinion; denim cotton is so temperamental that once the jeans fit perfectly, you probably shouldn't wash them anymore for fear of them changing sizes or unwanted fading.

i'm getting a nudie pair. and doing that.

i currently don't own any raw denim but..
my paper and denim cloth ones i wash after three-five uses out of them, if i do, inside out with. hung to dry. my sevens i wash like that too, but already have a pre-faded sort of design. my true religion ones i actually had to shrink (i lost weight) but i still hang to dry.

I skipped this entire thread just to say ...

I remember this homeless crust punk kid with a dog that was saying "Yeah ...I think i'm pretty crusty ...like, my pants are all crusty 'n' shit 'n' like ...I haven't washed them in awhile ...but then I don't know. I'd like to think that i'm an anarchist punk more than anything though ..."

I asked him what makes an anarchist punk an anarchist punk. He replied "community". LOL. FTW.

I think this is maybe where some people are getting confused.

I'm the same way with my work jeans, because I wash them when they get dirty--which is often.

For my casual wear jeans, there's really no reason for me to wash the jeans I wear to a coffee shop, bar, or restaurant unless I drop food in my lap.

Of course, ALL of my work clothes get washed often, so they all look like crap. My Levis hold up pretty well, but the cotton shorts and t-shirts... Not so much.

I don't get it, though. If you feel like you have to wash your jeans after every wearing, either you sweat way too much, or you're not used to being active enough to sweat in your clothes.

I believe super slim kims were only available for one or two seasons, now they're discontinued. I haven't seen a girl in thin finns, I'm curious because they have a really low yoke, when combined with the drop pockets will look weird on a rounder butt than the guys with no butts that I've seen rock them.

That's pretty extreme, that looks like a 5'7 hypebeast wearing nike blazers, he's not exactly indicative of how it would fit on a girl who would wear them way differently (IE, getting them hemmed so they don't have massive stacks down the legs and wearing them at her waist).

I'm 6'1, wearing an unaltered pair of thin finn 31x34.
