Lol @ "it's usually free.....$10 bucks"

I have never been to a free show at The Smell, AND you have to pay the homeless guys in the parking lot 5 bucks to 'watch your car'

I fully back the homeless guy theory. You pay them, they help you. It's like communal living.

negative.

$5 and theyllwatch yr car, or just fuck it up, or go pee on it.

a lot of homeless people are homeless because of some sort of mental illness, or something that can't make them function in society. he would still be sitting there in his horrible smelling clothes anyway, but this way he scams you out of $5 and what's he watching out for? OTHER homeless people?

No....the point is that they WON'T pee on it if you give them 5 bucks.

I always give them 5 bucks.

Also- You're crazy in thinking "most kids bike to shows in LA"

Man, some homeless dude most have done you wrong at some point in your life.

Let's put it this way, I'd rather roll downtown and have a homeless posse than no posse at all.

i didnt say most kids, i said smell kids.

also- trusting a homeless guy to not pee on yr car is shady.

also- i live downtown and am surrounded by homeless people (literally across the street is a freeway underpass where there is a bunch of them) and there is a food bank the other side of the block so there are always homeless people here.

All of them are just psycho dude. they are always doing crazy shit and pointless vandalism. Are you talking about cool homeless? the only one ive ever really met was one that looked/talked like Tom Waits.

Also- They aren't going to pee on MY car, when there are plenty of other cars belonging to assholes who didn't give them 5 bucks!

I think Northwest homless and Souther Californian homeless are two different things though. You gotta take the geographical location in to play here. People of the Northwest are known to have mental issues, especially stemming from depression and suicide.

Southern Californian homeless......man, probably most of them use to hang out at The Masque and are homeless because of the copious amount of drugs they did at one point. They're just like........the hardest partiers, only they have no place to live. See the difference?

If they had cash they'd be poppin Cristal with your boy.

this thread is lolfull. but this is the best part^. WHAT particular mental issues would "stem from" suicide? like the "now-i'm-dead-and-have-no-friends-cause-it's-the -afterlife" one?

Well I should have said suicidal tendencies but I was focusing more of my argument on backing the homeless and not enough on what tense I was speaking in. I'm only human dear, and barely that sometimes.

"suicidal tendencies" is not in the DSM-IV. suicidal ideation and activity can be associated with tons of mental disorders. but i will let it slide because you called me "dear."

for my vote, i would ride a bike or bum a ride, but be nice to the homeless dude anyway.

Never professed to being smart either, apparently

Ohh, and upon first glance I thought you said ride a bum instead of bum a ride and for a minute there I thought you were maybe onto something.
