Welcome to Makeoutclub. This is the oldschool board, and is more or less run by oldschool users and a handful of admin that I've appointed. Most of these people have been using this site for a few years or more, and as such, are staunchly defensive of their turf. Before you post in this forum I highly suggest you do the following first:
- Make an introduction thread in the NEW USER forum.
- Have a filled out profile with real photos and info.
- Read all of the sticked advice posts in the NEW USER forum.
- Post in the NEW USER and ALL AGES forum for at least a few months and get your post count up before posting here.
- When you DO start posting here, don't create new threads off the bat. Instead, contribute to threads posted by other members. Make some friends and get to know people.
- Again, unless you are an older user or an oldschool member of the site (a few years), it might be tough to get posting in here unless you are witty, funny, and contribute great stories/threads.
- USE PROPER GRAMMAR. Nobody here is a fan of the "ur so coot lyke omg bai secksi" bullshit. Write like an adult, or get treated like a child.
- Post intelligent, smart, funny, unique stuff that contributes to the board and makes it a fun place to be. If there is nothing in your head, don't post for the sake of posting.
- This isnt a dating forum. This is the general chat forum. So don't create stupid posts like: "I want to talk to some1, plz write me." You will get your ass deleted.
Any other questions? Ask me. This site is mostly older teenagers and people in their 20's and even early 30s (me!). If you are mega young (13-15), I suggest hanging out in the New User and All Ages forum for a while.
Granted I haven't posted in a long time, but I use to all the time and I don't recall a single person that is posting at this moment. Where is Koleybear? Where is Norecal? Too late? Too old?
Do I count as a new user if I technically started my account years ago and am listed as "Old School"?
No.
Someone needs to sticky this.
Good thing.
The first account I made was either late 2002 or early 2003 which I am almost certain was linked to nightshade5@hotmail.com, but I abandoned it because my family was too poor to afford a digital camera and honestly, what is the point if there isn't at least one picture of a user?
I'm not sure when I made this account, but it was linked to an email address from way back that I barely open anymore. I decided to come back here because all of the social networks that have sprung up since MOC have been made of just complete and utter lame.
Attention person who is just joining MOC... stop what you are doing... go outside... make a friend... and never come back to this terrible awful and horrible place...

I've been on here for years but inactive for quite a long time. I'm not a dumb young kid and I'm on Old School page 2. Do I get a free pass into the Old School boards? I don't want my head to explode from reading the other forums.

I thought being Old School meant I can post in Old School. I'm an old man, damnit!
I see you're having trouble getting new users to read this. Why don't you just program the site to not allow new users to post where you don't want them. When they try to, you can tell them why and what they can do to post there. You can even do something like, when you've posted 1000 times you can post in such and such forum. This might even get people to post more.
