so I've found a lady I'm gonna try and woo to make my women.

She's quiet but has been kinda flirty with me over the last couple weeks, and had mentioned when her family was in town for the football game they left like 4 lbs of boiled peanuts, so she was gonna have a "boiled peanut party" soon.
So the other day I texted her that "my boiled peanut levels were critically low, when's the party"

and she replied that I should buy some cokes and meet her on the horseshoe and she'll bring the peanuts and creme brulee

that went really well, and while were were hanging out I mentioned a really nice reasturant here in town that I wanted to try and asked if she would like to go to dinner with me next week.

So we've got dinner at this nice restaurant on Wed night.

Give me ideas of other stuff to do after dinner. I'm thinking there is another place not far away that is like a coffee desert joint.

yes, it is a boast post

and about the last 16 years of my 28 I've been dating

but that doesn't change the fact that I always like to hear new ideas for dates, etc.

It would help to have an idea of what kind of girl she is. Personally I am super laid back and would think a low key early dinner would be nice. Then doing something corny like going to a pottery store, having something picked out for me, and painting together.

Also things like picnics and sidewalk chalk.

Since it is a nice dinner I would think a dessert / wine bar would be a good after activity.

I would say you should do dinner, then a brief activity (maybe even just the walk to the dessert place), then dessert. More conversation time and less food overload.

walking is a great idea, although it is about 6 blocks away. Is that too far assuming she is wearing heels?

Walking is a great chance for holding her hand too, so Martha gets mad points for the suggestion.

Especially if you can think of a special route between points a and b with a nice view or some such so you are not just wandering down random streets. I took Crls on a walk over the Williamsburg bridge and it was a success even though the weather was murky.

6 blocks should be fine. I am a hard core walker though.

if she can't walk 12 blocks (round trip) in heels she shouldn't be wearing them... Sayin

it's a straight shot between the two places

oddly enough it is over a bridge actually.....

I'm thinking setting up a follow up date for the weekend for going to a Haunted House or Haunted Trail....Halloween type activity...

That or a day trip up to the Mountains, but I think that might be a little forward

A haunted hayride would be even better. Possibility of a chilly night and snuggling for warmth.

all i know is that a man who can cook me a good meal that i've never tried before is probably gonna get his dick wet. i'm a sucker for cooking skills and most women are too.

Very good!

All of my dates lately consist of studying together, making dinner, cuddling, sex, sleep, more sex, more sleep and waking up early the next day to bike to class and I couldn't be happier.

but yet, if a guy made me walk 6 blocks in heels for one of our first dates, that wouldn't fly with me

If it was a really good date, I would be too caught up in the conversation to care that I was walking 6 blocks in heels.

On my last date, the guy and I wandered around the strip mall the restaurant was in. The wandering included going to Chuch E Cheese, immediately leaving Chuck E Cheese, gawking at fuzzy pets at the pet store, and having him teach me stuff about electronics at the Radio Shack. It was nice.

this is on the list eventually,

I have very "dude like" living conditions right now. I've never bothered to actually hang up anything on the walls or actually unpack all my books and put them on the shelves, etc.... I need actually decorate a bit and make my place look less barren and spartan before I bring her over.

I've always loved the line from American Psycho so I just texted her

"7:30 reservation at Dorsia. Wear something fabulous."
