I can agree that Schojomatt would be an excellent moderator.
As a pot-stirrer, not sure how much this would matter, buuttttttt I was a moderator/admin for 3+ years on a site with 100,000 active users. I'm a seasoned moderator, aside from my bitchy MOC ways.

yes, whenever someone gets slightly busier at work, they completely and permanently remove themselves from relationships they spent years building. that is a perfectly sound explanation. funnily enough, when my neighbor was given some extra responsibilities at his job, he divorced his wife, abandoned his children and shot both his dogs.

No... I agree with Fiords.

I think it's funny how people seem to use MOC as the deletion scapegoat for "getting their life together" yet seem perfectly capable of maintaining plenty of other online social media/social networking profiles and personas. Whatever. Just be honest. The "My life got busy" excuse for deletion is bullshit. If you're busy, don't log in. End of story.

Brad had work-related shit he had to take care of and didn't want crossover. Lots of shit people post here can be "inappro" so maybe he wanted to leave that behind. I can understand the fear of google indexing / etc following you in your professional career. Why summer continues to delete and rejoin baffles me, but as I remarked to Brad, I guess shes swinging from his pubes.

Honestly, Brad will be sorely missed. He was a huge help around here and im sad he's gone.

I think MOC is just something we all associate with irresponsible youthfulness because it's a lot of fun. You're right about how bullshit it is when people delite like they're born again and shit.

I don't get along with fiords. That said, I think he could be a good moderator. I don't know if he's on here enough to do the job, but he seems to really want it and some responsibility would be good for him as a person.
