A music genre that is all but faded away. Kids in the 80s were making hardcore punk music and decided, hey, let's try something a bit different. Then people started calling it 'emo'. Eventually it developed enough that it had a following that wore clothes that were typically 'emo'. That doesn't really even exist anymore, kids. There's a thread on here somewhere, probably the one titled emo, that has music videos. Educate yourselves. Jeez Louise.....

And doesn't it make you not emo if you go around saying that your emo? I think that kinda defeats the purpose of being emo in the first place.
