Green Day - American Idiot
Radiohead - OK Computer
Brand New - The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me + Deja Entendu
Bob Dylan - Quite a few of them
Bright Eyes - I'm Wide Awake It's morning
The Smiths - The Queen Is Dead
My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade (yes i know...)
Alkaline Trio - Good Mourning

My tastes are a lot more alternative now, and a lot more on the more hardcore side, but these were all pretty important albums for me

I like electronic music. Half of the genre is stealing music. Besides, this is albums that shaped your life. This was before I read blogs enough to know what shady dealings my favorite musicians were doing. Furthermore, as stupid as it was to do that, they still brought some new sounds that people wouldn't normally hear.

No. Half the genre is sampling music with proper accreditation, not stealing and claiming that you have an Atari chip in your keyboard.
