Basically just check out all the bands already mentioned in this thread. It's all legit Screamo, you dont have to like it... but you will atleast know what it is.

All I know is it translates to real screamo. That's how ya know.
"skramz" (in common use) as a term came later - after the rise of the post-hardcore bands that are now dubbed screamo.
