Just to see what I can find, I'm looking for bands that are completely absurd and ridiculous.

i got in for free to one of their shows because i'm friends with one of the openers here in poughkeepsie ny.

nicole i think you'd be happy to know i clocked the autotuned one in the head with a *hard* plastic water bottle i grabbed from my college bookstore. i was escorted out by security and was high fived by most of the locals who were there to support the local bands.

well you didn't ask, but in a way you did. i went to a show at my hometown with 3 friends. They were drunk, I was not. A 'straight edge' kid punched my friend in the nose and broke it just because he was drunk(he caused no trouble.) There was a huge brawl amongst 4 people against about 30-40(not a joke.) Me and my friends knocked out quite a few people while getting fucked up and hit from behind and 3 on 1'd. The guitarist and bassist from Phoenix Mourning got involved. We tried to leave and go outside. The 2 dudes from Phoenix Mourning hit 2 of my friends from behind. One of them 16 at the time. He held his hands behind his back and said I'm 16, hit me again. He hit him again. He got up and said the same thing 3 times. Each time, holding his hands behind his back. He called him the n word, but merely because he had his hands behind his back not fighting. Fuck phoenix mourning.

that reminds me of the time my friends and i were at a HC show in providence and it was all local bands plus COA who are from up the street. because its COA, a bunch of FSU guys show up to act tough and bullshit the other bands. theres 5 or 6 of them and they fuck with my friend ben who is the drummer for one of the bands. security won't do shit because its FSU and we're just a bunch of punk kids. For no reason they throw a beer bottle at him during his band's set, which is a straightedge band. within seconds the guitars are unplugged and being used as bats against these huge dudes. the FSU guys, being so tough, pull out their brass knuckles popping ben in the face and eric (ben's 100lb vegan brother) in the gut. chris the bassist and brian the guitarist knock the FUCK out of 2 guys, i help ben and eric up and then it's turned into a fucking old timey Western-stylized barroom fight with EVERYONE in the club going at one another.
show was shut down, ben went to the hospital to get 12 stitches over his left eye and the FSU fucks got a free night's stay at the local police department.
we still love COA tho.
