only series I honestly prefer the dub for is FLCL, a lot of the jokes don't translate well into subtitles

also i agree on FLCL, the thing about it is, much like Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, almost all of the jokes that would have to be properly translated are more deeply rooted in japanese culture, and are kind of hard for anyone else to understand.

the Zabuza arc is a pretty good start
then it'll get pretty slow untill the Chunin exams start
then it stays awesome

hopefully you're watching them with the Japanese dubs and English subs!

yah i don't hulu shit but i am guessing they are the eng dubs if they are listing them by season. if they are, go to crunchyroll.com or dattebayo.com, CR has streams of the entire thing or DB has torrents of everything.

Naruto and Naruto Shippuuden are numbered sequentially since it's a continuing series with new eps aired EVERY SINGLE FUCKING WEEK for like, the past few years. if you counted up all the eps between the two it's into the 300's

but the anime has this long "filler arc" after a certain main character leaves until Shippuuden starts, and it's pretty boring IMO
