I recently got into a casual raiding guild and can only play for 2-3 hour periods once or twice a week because I can't sit still that long. I like it and it's cheaper than other hobbies that I'd pursue.

My main is only level 33 so I haven't really done any huge/fun raids yet. I'm really excited to try and hit 50 so I can get some decent armor. (Expletive priests and their expletive expletive cloth armor..)

I lucked out, when I started playing again last month they'd lowered the level when you can get a mount... those runaround quests still take forever though.

Get questhelper, it is insanely useful for that shit.

Questhelper makes questing as easy as grinding. No joke.

Also... grind mobs that have a super rare and ridiculous rare drop. One example being the black whelplings in the east of the badlands. A [Dark Whelpling] pet will go for insane cash in the Auction House (in most servers, anyways.)

Right. Well, if you're already 80, that's fine. I'm saying, if you're going to be grinding mobs to level up, find a spot where it's most profitable.

There was a MOC guild, but it was on an RP server. I'm mainly playing in Argent Dawn now, (which is RP, but more of a Normal realm than anything) working on leveling a bunch of alts with the +20% heirloom items equipped.

Fun times.

WoW became really lame once they implemented BC... all the hard work that most people did was for nothing, I was half T1/half T2 and it was a waste of my time because blues would upgrade my sets...

Then they just made it too easy for everyone. Then they had to keep adding stuff to keep people happy without REALLY changing the game other than adding new dungeons to engage in the same encounters (which became easier anyway).

That's why I moved to an entirely different game. LOTRO has really challenging encounters and really fun raids. Plus, the content is a million times better since it's based off of Tolkien.

But I'm just squatting until Old Republic comes out *drool*
