I like the PSP better, but I have never owned a sony system in which the laser didn't burn out. This includes PS, PS2, PS3, and PSP. I still like them better than nintendo and microsoft, but jesus, why can't they make systems that work consistently?

This devoured most of my early childhood. I don't think I ever made it past level 3, but damned if I didn't play it constantly anyway.

i bought mine (red) used (w/o a battery cover on the back) from money i got from helping tutor people after school back in 5th grade. i got so sick of needing to buy batteries for it that i got an adapter for the wall... problem was that after a few weeks it started breaking, so in order for it to work, i needed to keep it completely still. no moving it, at all.

one shift and the whole thing would power down.

which made beating pokemon yellow.... frustrating.

but my gosh good times.

Probably the biggest blunder in hand held gaming.

Some of my favorite memories are laying in a freezing ass room all tucked into bed playing Mario with that ugly ass original game boy green-on-dark green screen when I was a tyke.
