then take the initial advice and get to know people on the new users forum first. once you now how the site works, then maybe you can interact with everyone else. i think the new users forum has people more your speed anyway.

acting like you're "tough" will not win you much here. most of us know each other pretty well, and as far as online communities go, it definitely is a COMMUNITY.

one that doesn't really take kindly to people walking in all "look at me and how cool i am" from the get go.
