non original programming: maya the bee, david the gnome, voltron, grimm's fairy tale classics, muppet babies, maple town, the littl' bits
original: nick arcade, wiener-ville, what would you do?, GUTS, wild and crazy kids, land of the lost, space cases
Loooved Pete & Pete. I have the Pete & Pete Polaris song on tape. I got it out of a cereal box.
Roundhouse also had a solid theme song:
♫ whenever my life gets me so down
I know I can go down
to where the music and the fun never end
as long as the music keeps playing
you know what I'm saying
I know that I can find a friend
down at the Round House ♫

one of the best things from the 90's and that's saying a lot.
i for one, have an entire folder on a 1.5TB hard drive that's around 90-100GB and spans a good percentage of old school nick shows and commercial blocks. there's every season of p&p, you can't do that on television, are you afraid of the dark, ren & stimpy, kablam, even the fucking rugrats. i even managed to find countless episodes of family double dare, nick arcade, legends of the hidden temple, salute your shorts and just about everything else you can think of. that is, except for what would you do?, wild & crazy kids and the secret world of alex mack which i long to nostalgia. people need to search their parents' attic/basement and find some god damn vhs tape recordings!!
rugrats was my shit growing up. angry beavers, pete and pete.
did anyone has the channel Nick GAS? it had all the classic nick game shows like get the picture, finders keepers, figure it out.
I didn't have cable as a wee girl, so fuck it all, I loved Animaniacs...those are the facts.
SATURDAY MORNING CARTOONS ON THE WB <3
i didn't have cable for a while either. I remember when i lived in Chile, I went to this private school and everyone loved the power rangers. I was the only one that didn't have cable thank god. because the POWER RANGERS SUCKED!
OK but what about that old school kid stuff to like welcome to weinerville and eurekas castle and we cant forget the unsung hero that was Ahh real monsters
Ren and Stimpy FTW. Probably the most ahead-of-its-time cartoon ever made. Have all the box sets. And I cannot tell you how long I waited for those to be released.
Salute Your Shorts, You Can't Do That on Television, Double Dare, Clarissa, Hey Dude, and Pete and Pete were my jams.
Bobby's World, Darkwing Duck, Ducktales, Sonic the Hedgehog, Captain Planet, Garfield and Friends, Tiny Toon Adventures, Beavis and Butthead, Daria, Ghostwriters, The Wonder Years, Flash Forward, Animorphs, TMNT, So Weird, My So Called Life, Land of the Lost, that Dinosaur family show I can't remember the name of...
Marry me. You have no idea how many times I ran around my house as a kid with a towel tied around my neck shouting, "I am the terror that flaps in the night!!!"
Also, the show with the dino family was called Dinosaurs. I caught that show brand new every week! Because I'm old.
