I am going to a costume party tonight and decided I would save some money by working with what I already own. Given my horrible wardrobe and my inability to find a blonde wig, the obvious choice is Vince Noir. I don't have all the elements for any particular Vince outfit, but I have a lot of ridiculous shit he would totally wear. The only problem is editing.

I am thinking my silver lamé leggings are a given, but I also have a pair that are neon green with black tigers printed on them (not a tiger print, but actual tigers). For shoes I am pretty much decided on my modish leather boots that Crls got me.

Some of the options are...

for tops:
- gold sequined tank top
- orange and yellow striped athletic sports bra top thing
- hideous tropical colors bathing suit with a low v-neck that could be worn over leggings as a body suit
- steel-colored button-up shirt
- rainbow striped polyester button-up shirt
- black and white striped button-up shirt (the white pinstripes are sheer)
- black terrycloth vest

for jackets:
- green and blue velour track jacket
- light tan suede jacket
- black velour blazer
- cropped corduroy jacket with padded shoulders and little ruffle wings (too feminine?)

for accessories:
- tons of buttons that I could stick on a jacket
- variously colored silk scarves (tied as a headband maybe?)
- silver plated belt (wide)
- gold plated belt (narrow)
- wide silver belt (matches the leggings)

I will probably find more stuff as I start rooting around, but what do you guys think thus far?

Ughhh. If I were there this weekend instead of next, I'd lend you this fake leather jacket that I just bought, that'd be a perfect Vince Noir piece. I'm going to go ahead and say do the black and white button-up with the leggings, black blazer, the wide silver belt.

Right now I am wearing silver leggings, gold sequin top, black and white striped top over that, and a peachy gold scarf as a headband. When I was getting out the black velour blazer I found the chocolate brown blazer thing that is sort of a weird corduroy/velour hybrid as well.

If I go with the wide silver belt, should I put it at my waist or my hips? It is something that came with some outfit my mom bought (wtf) and she tried to cut it down to my size before mailing it to me, so it doesn't have any button holes.
