I don't know how you watch movies, but that film is heavily intertwined with Video Game theory, in that it was one of the first 'platform crossing' films that used elements from the video game universe, in that the film offers Lola and Manni the advantage of the 'Restart' - Go read Henry Jenkins work if you want to know more abt video game theory.

I recently bought a copy of Gremlins for five bucks. The quality isn’t shitty either, considering it was bought at Wal Mart.

I also got a copy of Stay the other day. I love that movie so much.

adventure land was NOT terrible. It was completely marginal, and palatable.........snob, you have to like the junk for being junk, man.

I made it to the scene where they get in the car and she plays Husker Du on the tape deck. I can't stand her for some reason, maybe because she's my type or something, but to have her playing like my favorite band ever in the film just made me go, "oh screw this I can't bother watching this film."

I remember when that came out it was shown at midnight - at the same theater where Rocky Horror was done. You want to talk about two interesting crowds of people in the same place, it was awesome.

"Dead Man". Interesting art-house style western starring Johnny Depp. There is some pretty awesome acting in it, Iggy Pop gets shot, and there is a cannibalistic bounty hunter.
