Pretty much nothing. I used to worry about my gf being upset/unfaithful/unhappy etc., but I don't really care about that anymore.

there's this giant ring around the moon that kind of freaked me out. i asked my friend if she could see it and she said yes, but she's really high, and i think she's just agreeing with everything i say. then i google'd it and saw that a ring around the moon means there's going to be bad weather, which makes me worry. i don't like bad weather.

The most recent death I witnessed...
I was sitting in a drive through at Starbucks (hey I didn't want to have to go inside for a latte, I hate starbucks like the rest) and I was listening to moz singing.
I was facing a major light, and as Moz was singing "everyday is like sunday", this mini van doesn't stop at this red.
The van gets hit... and the guy who is the driver... is convulsing everywhere.
The woman that he hits, runs out of her car and to the guys van.
He's still convulsing, Morriessy is still singing, and he dies right there of a heart attack.
I get my latte, and drive to work.
Numb, very numb.
Morrissey would be proud.

watched a car accident similar to that
walking around my hometown and in the middle of down town i see a car accident
one of those giant suvs hit a prius (which was in 3 pieces)
and the man who was in the prius was literally on the ground screaming to death
scared myself shitless.

i have another story but i won't be sharing it publicly.
far too personal.

you see it daily? really? I'm not trying to be rude, but honestly seasons change year to year and there really isn't a huge difference to prove anything. I'll look up shit tomorrow. I'm a tad drunk and lazy right now to do so, but yeah i don't believe whatsoever it's true. Nor do i believe that hybrids, smart cars, 'organic,' veganism will solve anything. Not saying they are bad things or dumb. Just saying....if global warming was true, we can't reverse it. I'm in the military. Iraq isn't as bad as it used to be. Afgan is way worse. some bases in Iraq have pools, burger kings, dorms, and you can drink 3 beers a day. War is hell(Heavyweights)

I will tell you that I will look shit up tomorrow so you leave me alone, but really I dont give a fuck because I do not see it so it must not be real. I'm a tad drunk and lazy right now to do so, but yeah i don't believe whatsoever it's true. Nor do i changing the way we have been doing things will solve anything. Not saying that change is bad. Just saying....if global warming was true, we can't reverse it and who gives a fuck about polar bears any ways? I'm in the military so I know about American politics. Iraq isn't as bad as it used to be because we are becoming it's foundation. Afgan is way worse because we haven't stuck our grimy fists deep enough apparently. some bases in Iraq have pools, burger kings, dorms, and you can drink 3 beers a day. Soon the whole planet will be one big capitalized hell hole but as long as there is beer we will stay fat and ignorant.

considering the amount of "hottest day on record"'s i have heard and the fact that it was hot all winter just gone... i am going to have to say global warming is real.

Yeah, I'm very aware that Iraq is different now, and a lot depends on the FOB you are at. But I'm not sure what you mean by that. My husband was in the worst town, at the worst time to be there, and on a deployment after too. All he did was complain about how boring it was, and that there was nothing to do. He's a sniper, and so round 2 was much different than round one for him.
And I'll take in mind that you are drunk, but you said it's false. It's not false. It's as much false as it is true, you can't prove either.
I say I see it daily with how different the weather is every year. I travel a lot, and go to seattle a lot too. The animals that are normally way more north move more and more south each year.
And I'm not sure what you mean by being green, vegan, and saving shit. I happen to be a vegan, who attempts to be as green as I can be with out being a retard about it, and my motivation isn't to save the planet. It's a choice I made to honor the things that have value to me.
Not all people who are green are tree hugging liberal hippies. Some of us have brains, and check facts, and even do it for our own personal reasons, and pay no mind to how people around us live their life./rant

Global warming is an observable scientific fact held as consensus by all reputable scientists. The only scientists that openly deny global warming are funded directly by oil cartels, or other multinational corporations.

It's something that has been measured and recorded over the past 50 years. So now, even the scientists who have been bought out by big business to protect their assets have moved the goal posts: now the "debate" is whether or not global warming is human-caused.

It's analogous to tobacco companies arguing that cigarettes don't cause cancer. Everyone knows cigarettes are bad for you. People who abused tobacco were known as "niccotine fiends" well before the turn of the century, and cigarettes have been called "coffin nails" since the late 1800's.

It was never a debate until some idiot with money to be made and a sob story to tell took it to Sacramento, and started spreading lies and disinformation that it became a "debate" about the "possible health effects of smoking."

Global warming caused by greenhouse gasses is one of the most basic things you learn in a remedial biology class. Burning fossil fuels, as it turns out, produces a shitload of greenhouse gases. Doesn't take a genius to figure this one out.

the world will survive it. we won't.
people think we're killing the world, but what we're doing is making it so that we can no longer live on this earth.
when we've burned ourselves off this planet things will go back to how it was before we started fucking it up.

also, i don't think it is "warming," its climate change. last winter in north eastern USA we had heavier snow fall than in many many years. It's already snowing here which is incredible in of itself. Summer also didn't start temperature wise here until late June early July. It seems that in many areas it's cooling.

wow that was quick. hottest day on record? the news is just propaganda as it is. that phrase has been said numerous times. it gets to 125 in phoenix. it gets hotter in Iraq. i don't just drink and sit around. i remember when 'global warming' came about and looked it up and have since then. it's a fluke. you're totally right about americans and people wanting now and not thinking about the future, but that doesn't mean 'global warming' is true. i'm 23.....when i'm 40 and sitting in New Hampshire wearing swimming shorts I'll be like damn.....I was wrong. I just don't buy it. not at all. just like how I don't buy 'organic.' It's a trend and based off poor facts. organic is just a word to sell items. Those products are not guaranteed. and yes....Air Force bases are always nicer. Doesn't mean Army and Marine's aren't nice to an aspect. It all depends on your job. If you're infantry or air borne then hell no.

If you're infantry or air borne then hell no.

Okay, so you are saying that just because you don't believe something that it isn't true? Huh?
No. I'm sorry.
I wanted to try and give you a chance, but from here on out, I have zero respect for you(out side of serving your country).
How arrogant of you to think that because you don't believe something it isn't true. Organic is NOT a trend. Buying organic may be, but there have been farmers markets etc for many many many years. Buying organic in fact helps keep a lot of local farming around. It's not only good for you, but for your local farmers a lot of the times.
I find it sad that you feel you are so right.
I would have perhaps had a different view point on you, if you at least gave a fact or theory or something to support you, other than an I said so.

wow that was quick. hottest day on record? the news is just propaganda as it is. that phrase has been said numerous times. it gets to 125 in phoenix. it gets hotter in Iraq. i don't just drink and sit around. i remember when 'global warming' came about and looked it up and have since then. it's a fluke. you're totally right about americans and people wanting now and not thinking about the future, but that doesn't mean 'global warming' is true. i'm 23.....when i'm 40 and sitting in New Hampshire wearing swimming shorts I'll be like damn.....I was wrong. climate change is a weird topic. we have greenhouse gases warming things up, we're supposed to be going into another ice age pretty soon, and the earth is a giant dynamo that changes magnetic poles every thirty thousand years or some shit like that (which is a topic NEVER discussed in relation to climate change). there's no clear cut answer in this subject. it's best to be green and ecologically friendly, since it has been proven that what we're doing has negative affects on the environment. but i doubt that what we're doing is the soul factor for climate change. the earth goes through warming and cooling phases, magnetism changes, and things that amanda (bosley) is far more qualified to explain than i.

but like i said, we're dying before the earth does. it'll go back to normal after we've died off.
come to think of it, a species usually has only about 20,000 years on this earth before going extinct... we're closing in on the 40,000 mark aren't we? it's about time we've been burnt to a crisp and wiped clean of the earth (or evolved into something a bit more intelligent).
