A Portrait For The Rich



Expensive cars, fancy clothes
Prestigious jobs,& giant homes

From rags to riches, from humble to proud
You erect your pedestal, upon unholy ground

Giving to charities, donating to churches or a good cause
So you can lie on your taxes, exploiting the system
So you can continue to lie, cheat & steal and thats wrong

Everything you purchase you label as "just another business expense"
To stuff more money in your pocket, as your country goes further into debt

How many people have you trampled in the name of success?
How many lies did you have to tell to afford your private jet?

For public image you get married and have kids,
But yet their parents are never around
Their father's out drinking with his friends
Their mother's sleeping with someone on the other side of town


Throwing bills at the kids, just to keep them at bay
They're an inconvenince when all you care about is money

They turn into monsters who have no respect
They bully the other kids in their class
Teasing them about what their parents cant get


You give these little fuckers whatever they want
Video games, big screen tv's, car's, motorbikes & ATV's

They have no respect for you, for anybody or for life
You're the example, never around chasing more cash
Because it was more important for you to cheat on your wife


You wonder what you did, where you went wrong.
When your spouse disappears and the divorce papers come in the mail
You turn into an alcoholic, become depressed and pity yourself


When all you can see is the color green
You can't see any other color inbetween


Now your paying child support and getting fucked by the alimony pony,
you're broke and alone.
Drinking night after night, reaping the seeds of destruction that you've so passionately sown.

I have no sympathy for the rich, who abandon their heritage
Saying I went from rags to riches, now from rich to poor.
You fucker you got what you haven't gotten what you deserved, you deserve more.




Sympathy for the rich is the latest in the satirical legacy of the modern day 21st century.
