I love to write. I hate my nose and wish I was 3 inches taller. I love thoughtful caring people, living room dance parties with my husband, and traveling to new places. My favorite curse word is the eff word and I will one day die from a carcinogen found in Diet Coke.

So this year I made a list of things I wanted to achieve in 2009.
Since the year is just one quarter year from being completed. Let’s see how I’m doing.

1) Learn French
- Not even close. I did check out a “Learn French in Your Car” set of audio books, only to find out I’d checked out level three! I returned it and haven’t yet attempted to find level one.

2) Go to Ireland for Allison’s wedding
- Allison is my best friend from sixth grade. No matter how much time passes without communication, we pick up right where we left off. She is getting married in October, and I’m visiting her in November with my husband. So I consider this goal nearly complete.

3) Exercise at least 30 minutes a day
- Yes.

4) Do not repeat gossip (especially when it comes from or is about a family member)
- I’ve done pretty well about this.

5) Quit smoking completely
- Not so much. I still smoke on the weekends and sometimes when I dirnk. I’m guessing I’m doing better, but still. I think it’s more difficult to quit when you can justify every cigarette with “I’m not really a smoker”. I’d say I smoke five cigarettes a week. So really, this goal may just be obsolete. I think I’m going to choose to continue smoking well into 2010. Hooray!

6) Buy a home
- Who was I kidding?! This is far too much commitment and money. No longer interested.

7) Be genuinely and all together completely more positive about everything.
- Better? Eh… perhaps.

8) Bicycle from Indianapolis to Columbus and back.
- And no.

9) Return library books on time and pay related fines
- Yes. So far this year, I’ve only accrued $3 in late fines, all of which I was completely aware AND I paid my fines promptly.

10) Correspond with people, especially family, more often
- I friggin’ suck at this. I’m trying! I facebook family. Does that count?

it's going good. I already have my suit and aviators, i just need to find some wigs. I'm thinking it'll be easier to find next month because they open these seasonal halloween stores on every corner during october. And oh muh gah!!!! So jeluz of your axl and slash idea!! I think i might ever do that next year.

I'm here!
But only until my school blocks moc. I hope it doesn't happen 'cause I have too much free time this year, but it will probably happen eventually. :[

That is kinda spooky! Haha.

I love that you love to write, 'cause I do, too!

The weekend was pretty interesting. I had a three-day wedding to attend, which turned into a gong show, but now it's back to business as usual. The summer is flashing by, so I think I'm gonna get away for two weeks though :)

Wow,

What a surprisingly cheerful morning (that may be the lack of sleep talking). I'm up to my wrists in paint and listening to music. The poor keyboard looks like it's been grafittied. What would make this day truly remarkable is if my painting was nothing less than a masterpiece. It's an absolute disaster. Truthfully, I have no idea how to paint, but it's fun.

lol! I told myself I'd ride it out as well, and hope they had some form of a 'confidential' plan that makes us all proud in the end (then again, shouldn't we be let in on any 'secrets' as investors?). And I surely hope their 'discreet' plans do not always unfold like this:
