I'm just another ambitious young'n;
I'm a vegan who doesn't preach,
I think I'm bad at the internetz,
and I'm a realist on a good day.
I'm a synesthete with an unshakable case of insomnia.
I like taking photographs such as the one you see in the background here.
I enjoy deadpan humor, writing for my school newspaper (I am aware of how school-spirit corny that sounds, yes), and providing caustic commentary while watching bad movies.
I like Star Trek collectibles and collecting technology that is now obsolete (8-tracks, beta tapes, etc.).
I enjoy breaking out the hot-glue gun and making me some nifty crafts.
I wish I was more articulate, honestly.
I'm easily amused and easily amazed.
I study clinical psychology and medical science for fun, and I like pretending I'm cultured by seeing art exhibits and immersing myself in all things creative.
I like conversations about bizarre things and debates about complex things.
I never run out of things that interest me, and I always have something strange to talk about.
Watch.
Generally, I like anything that has an entertaining plot and a storyline that won't waste my time/make me fall asleep on someone's shoulder. I'm not that specific when it comes to films, but I do tend to prefer things that were not made in this decade.
But I do love:
Any old sci-fi B-movies:
Anything this man stars in;

Why? Because it's Robby the goddamned Robot, that's why.

I typically give almost everything a shot, so I'm relatively open-minded when it comes to music.
Plus, I could care less about trying to seem 'obscure' or 'underground'; if it's good, it's good.
Genre-wise, (if it was an artist list, it'd be long enough to break MOC) I enjoy anything Psychedelic or Progressive, Black Metal, Experimental, tasteful Electronic, Jazz, '50s Pop, '70s Soul, and various Foreign acts in different languages.
Two current favorites I won't shut up about:

I read books sporadically and don't purchase them due to poverty, so I'm more partial to periodicals. I even printed and distributed my own zine in my sophomore year of high school.
But this is one issue of reading material I always have on my nightstand:
I collect all the old issues.

ah i went on friday and sunday and i have to say, it was pretty fucking fun hahaha. it's always a great way to end the summer for me- even if it did almost clean out my bank account.
but my life has been nothing but boring for the past 4 months. all i've been doing is working and thinking of illustration ideas for this book. regardless, boring. but your life sounds extremely entertaining and i'm extremely envious.

haha yea i deffinitely know what no sleep looks/feels like. i had my lip pierced for such a long time but then i got a job and they were like, "fuck you, no being unique or individual...CONFORM CONFORM CONFORM!!!!" and i needed money so i had to cut my hair and take it out. but they deff look cool on you! i dont get the whole who can put more x's in their name thing. wtf are the x's for? posers are lame, really. i probably wont get my lip pierced again because of them but i dont know maybe
