I'm the girl next door--if you happen to live in a very dysfunctional neighborhood. I'm basically a dorky hedonist in the pursuit of happiness.

Religion is influenced by the media, but you already knew that. When someone sais jesus we automatically think of some tall stout man wearing a dress a headwrap and expression that portrays either enlightenment or constipation. Maybe i'm bitter and eccentric but i'm by no means cynical. It's the realist in me that's writing this blog. I mean the idea of religion in itself seperates us as people. You can take from the bible what you will but it really is just basic guidelines and storys with hypothetical situations in which we are supposed to say ouu and aweee to have learned a valuable life lesson we should have known already right? I mean we were created to embody christ and he knew this shit already. All i'm saying is what is religion exactly, we're told that its wrong to be gay it's wrong to masterbate its basically wrong to breath in the direction of the opposite sex if its premarital. As far as im concerned jesus is a zombie and god is morgan freeman and the prodigal son had the right idea before he ran out of food stamps and prostitutes and came running home to daddy. I need a scotch.

i only started drinking coffee when i had bad headaches, it was the only thing that would help.. now i'm addicted, i cant go a day without a french vanilla =]
seeing the world is also really high on my bicket list, my sister and i are big travellers because we have a lot of family in europe so i guess i'm very blessed that they like having us visit. Tokyo and North Holland are very high on my list to visit, but i would really like to learn both languages before i go, so i dont want to be completely lost when i go there/ Its definitely impressive that you're studying Japanese this winter, i'm starting my Dutch classes this february, i'm very excited.
Its so dandy that you're into journalism, for a long time i wanted to go into journalism, but directing movies has my heart.

Beyond and doubt, i'm still very lost. I know what i like doing so i want to stick with that, but i'm probably one of the most debauchee, bon vivant people to ever live. D:

Well thanks I appreciate it. And you're absolutely right, being a hopeless romantic is pretty bittersweet. It's great when you're in a relationship, but more of the bitter part when you're not.

But what about you? Same questions

Glad to realize my take on Anaïs Nin made someone laugh.

Ha, na it's all good. I don't really get weirded out by much.

Idk. I'm into a lil bit of this and a little bit of that. For starters I run my own recording studio, it's nothing big but I enjoy it. I'd like to continue doing that for a living once i graduate from college, but we'll see.
And going along with the anti nazi poster, i'm really into activism. I'm involved in Anti Racist Action, Invisible Children, T.W.L.O.H.A. and I like to at least be somewhat interested in politics

As for a bucket list:
i'd really like to make a difference in someone's life, i don't even care if i know i did or not.
I'd also like to go back to Europe and visit Ireland as much as I can
I'd also like to marry only once, and stay committed for the rest of my life (hopeless romantic i know)
I want to go on a road trip with no end destination. Maybe have an idea of where i'm headed, but it's just the explorer's spirit that i love

Idk much else, I hope that's good :)

alohaa love,
i love dallas green, whenever i'm having a loney day i listen to him and i feel so much better.
and i know what you mean, most of my friends have met Jack White, i would kill to meet him. Hes a genius in my opinion.

its funny that you would bring up the bucket list,
a few of my friends and i wrote our bucket lists about 2 weeks ago over coffee.
my top three things were:
1. Write and Direct my own feature film, have it play at the Spaceship movie theatre in Toronto.
2. See the Mona Lisa at the Louvre.
3. Live in Vietnam for a year.
and i definetly want to hear whats on your list.

how was that test btw, oh my oh my! =]
