The Information We Collect and Use

General

• - MOC collects personal information when you register with MOC, when you use the Service, when you visit our website or the website of certain MOC partners, and when you enter promotions or sweepstakes. MOC may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from business partners or other companies.
• - When you register with MOC, you provide us with certain personal information, which may include, your name, email address, telephone number, address, gender, and personal interests.
• - MOC also logs non-personally-identifiable information, including IP address, aggregate user data, and browser type, from users of the website. This data is collected for all MOC users, and is used to manage our website, track usage, and improve the Service. This non-personally-identifiable information may be shared with third-parties to provide you with more relevant services and advertisements. You understand and acknowledge that, even after removal, copies of Content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or if other users have copied or stored your Content.
• - User information, including members’ pictures and username, are displayed to people in order to facilitate user interaction with the Service. Email addresses may be used for inviting new friends to join the Service, to add users to members’ friends’ networks/friends/favorites, and to send notifications related to the Service. With the exception of inviting friends, adding friends, and notifications, a user’s email address is not shared or displayed to people within a user’s personal network. Users within a personal network communicate with each other through the Service, without disclosing their email addresses. Users’ full names are never directly revealed to other members. To facilitate searching and finding friends and acquaintances on the Service, MOC allows users to search for other members using information provided to MOC, including, first and last name, and email address.
• - We may also use a user’s email address to send updates, a newsletter or news regarding the service. Users may choose not to receive certain of such emails by opting out using the account editing tools.
• - From time to time, MOC or a partner, may sponsor a promotion, sweepstake or contest on the website. Users may be asked to provide personal information, including name, email address or home address or to answer questions in order to participate in such promotion, sweepstake or contest. We may transfer such personal information to certain partners that you have explicitly authorized to receive such information. Invitations and Other Communications to Non-Members

• - MOC members can invite friends to join the Service by sending invitation emails via our automated invitation system. MOC stores the email addresses that members provide so that the respondents may be added to the friends’ list of the member sending the invitations, and also to send reminders of the invitations. MOC does not sell these email addresses or use them to send any other communication besides invitations, and invitation reminders. Recipients of invitations from MOC may contact MOC to request the removal of their information from our database.
• - You may prevent MOC email invitations and other messages from being sent to any email address you control by sending a single email with the subject “BLOCK” to privacy@makeoutclub.com. The email must come from the account you wish to block.

Use of Cookies

• - “Cookies” are a feature of your web browser that allows web servers to recognize the computer used to access a particular website. They are small pieces of data that are stored by a user’s web browser on the user’s hard drive.
• - MOC may set and access MOC cookies on your computer. MOC members may modify or delete any of their information and preferences, including their account, at any time by logging into their account. Information will be updated promptly. Removed information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time, but will not be generally available to members of the Service.
• - We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the MOC service, such as service announcements, and administrative messages, that are considered part of your MOC account, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.

• - MOC member accounts are secured by member-created passwords. MOC takes precautions to insure that member account information is kept private. We use reasonable measures to protect member information that is stored within our database, and we restrict access to member information to those employees, consultants, agents, and third party service providers who need access to perform their job functions, such as our customer service personnel and technical staff.
• - Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of member account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of member information at any time.
