I take immense satisfaction from listening to Deerhoof, Negativland, Mr. Bungle, Bikini Kill, and Giant Drag
Though I use up a good deal of my workday listening to Gorillaz, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Flogging Molly, Spoon, and Weezer
I would never say no to listening to some polka.
Books
I've read a lot. For fun and for schoolin'. I've been on an existentialist kick for a few years, which means I am a nerd for:
Camus
Simone De Beauvoir (an added bonus of feminist writing)
Sartre
Kierkegaard
Dostoevsky
Douglas Adams and Kurt Vonnegut are especially fun to read.
I'll try anything my friends say is a good read. Any suggestions?
Television
When my television is on it's either fixated on TCM or Adult Swim.
For film? I love Brazil, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Death Laid an Egg, and Pride & Prejudice (A&E version). I'm sure that says something significant about me. And one day I might just figure out what.
