hmmm.....did you draw the line of influence from TheBeats to Dylan (such as in his lyrics, exp: Subterranean Homesick Blues)

nice, I think that that would be very interesting topic for a speech,
which counter-culter movement did you group him with?

I have not read it! but I shall
The beat writers are my favorites =] especially Burroughs and Kerouac!

personally I love Russian lit. But I think that you are too hard on Steinbeck, East of Eden was downright decent!
I too Like kerouac, but I also adore the other "beat" writers, Such as Burroughs, and Cassady. Do you like any of Salinger's work (aside from the Catcher In the Rye, which I find horribly overrated)?

I feel that the band should make references to Obscure Melville novels, just because so many bands are ripping off moby dick

I liked it. I believe I would like his plays more which sadly I still haven't read, but I did buy an anthology book with a bunch of them in it. I need to update my page, currently reading several books at the moment very slowly.

that's sad =[
but anyways back to the band- I feel that they should have a pose like the thug rappers in the early 90's because it would be so tight!
