Ha, no worries! If I could do it all over again (I have an economics degree, yeah I know...) I would have studied Political theory/philosophy. I'm currently writing a novel, and am on my second edit. I have a literary agent already, which is a godsent. I more write from observation than from theory, but I find the more non-fiction I read (Foucault, Habermas, Marcuse, Marx, Klein etc.) The harder it becomes to write with 'ignorance'. It's turned into a love tragedy saturated with political undertones that lie just within the reach of the larger population's grap. It's a great feeling/accomplishment so far. To be able to write comfortably without restriction/typical burdens has also granted me the freedom to take my time.
