You know, I'm comfortable around horses, but I probably shouldn't be.
From 2004-2006, I experienced the following:
-Bucked off a pony, twice within two minutes
-At a show (with the horse in my profile pic) while putting on my jacket, he reared and gave me a black eye with the top of his head; I jumped/fell off at which time he kicked me square in the back with both hind feet; got stuck underneath him after the kick because a girl grabbed his bridle and got trampled; got my arm stepped on while I was covering my head with it.
-Same horse, threw me in the outdoor arena twice within ten minutes, dragged me about 10 or 20 yards, no real injuries that time though.
-Training a young horse, he turned right when he was supposed to turn left and tried to run out the indoor arena door; I got scraped off and thrown off onto a wooden bench, broke my tailbone (and got back on and rode the fucking fucker until he did it right)
-Same horse (I bought him!) that almost killed me at the show spooked while I was putting flyspray on his face, reared and picked me up off the ground, I let go in time for him to come down on top of my foot while I was jumping out of the way. Broke my ankle and snapped two tendons (that was a TERRIBLE feeling)
And over the last 20 years I've had various concussions, a dislocated wrist, broken my left foot three times and my right foot once, black eyes and pulled muscles and the whole bit but for some reason I keep going back.
Oh and I moved to Massachusetts, got engaged to chester (remember him?), got unengaged to Chester, nearly ate shit in a propane explosion, moved back to California, found myself, and found a husband.
Who knew?!

Hahaha. Does it?
I've been riding since I was a little kid. Did the show circuit and the whole bit. I've been riding/training/teaching professionally for the past several years, running my own programs and schools.
Where've you been?!
